The generous, cigar-shaped barrel is manufactured from methacrylate in a variety of eye-catching finishes.
Around the lip of the screw-on cap, a thin, ridged metal band bears the Penlux logo. A tapered, tension-fixed wheel clip allows secure attachment to a pocket or pen loop. Fill up the Masterpiece Grande with a large volume of ink using the built-in piston-filling mechanism (bottled ink only). The stainless steel #6 nib (made by Jowo, Germany) provides a reliable, quality writing experience from day one.
The Aurora Australis was inspired by the Southern Lights of the Antarctic Circle, the Aurora Australis is presented in a vivid Lilac color similar to the glowing hue of the southern horizon. Its semi-transparent body best represents the foggy, yet diffused glow of shifting nature of the winter sky that exemplifies the best time to view the Aurora Australis.
