This metal adapter piece screws into the front part of the Lamy Dialog 3 barrel to operate the door that reveals and protracts the fountain pen nib. This doohickey device allows you to rinse, clean, and maintain the Lamy Dialog 3 or Dialog CC fountain pen nib. Make sure your nib is clean between inkings!
