Taccia Pantheon

The Pantheon, an ancient building in Rome, has been hailed
as one of the greatest achievements in history.
First a Roman temple, dedicated to all Roman gods,
and now a Catholic church, its dominating portico and dome
have influenced artists since Antiquity.
When Michelangelo first saw the Pantheon, he proclaimed it of
"angelic and not human design". The final resting place of the artist Raphael,
home to numerous chapels and shrines, and topped with its
famous oculus, the Pantheon truly represents
a work of timeless, enduring art.
A magnificent collection, the Taccia Pantheon is boldly decorated
with luxurious Mother of Pearl barrels. Black inlaid rings anchor the barrel
and conjure a Romanesque air. Six hand-cut and inlaid pearl columns
striate the cap. The Pantheon's solid build and girth model
that of limited edition collections, but is offered from
Taccia at a very reasonable price.
