The Maori is dedicated to the New
Zealand native people believed to have migrated in early times
from other islands of Polynesia. Production numbers in this
edition are based on the year 1642 which marked the arrival of
the first Europeans in new Zealand.
The Maori pens have hand- turned resin barrels in the
striking Maori colors of red, black and white. The 18K gold
fountain pen nib is engraved with the image of a moko or Maori
full-face tattoo. The Limited Edition pen's sterling
silver clip is in the shape of a canoe and features a
cartridge/converter filling system, whereas, the canoe shaped
clip of Special Limited Edition pens is made of vermeil and
features a lateral lever filling system. The Maori Limited
Edition sterling silver rollerball can be converted to a
ballpoint pen.
