| The Conklin Pen Company was established in 1898
in Toledo, Ohio, USA, and is regarded as one of the
most significant and innovative manufacturers from
the golden era of fountain pens. Based on the
original designs of earlier models, all Conklin pens
are hand manufactured by artisans dedicated to
producing writing instruments worthy of their
legendary name. Conklin pens are valued by
collectors and pen enthusiasts throughout the
world. The new Conklin Herringbone series
combines the vintage appeal with modern bold style
and elegance. The unique Herringbone pattern
itself is achieved by using a very precise
computerized engraving machine to cut the deep
pattern on airplane-grade aluminum. This elegant
pattern, reminiscent of the Conklin crescent shape,
is seen underneath a special translucent colored
acrylic and coated with several layers of epoxy for
protection and brightness. The coin atop the cap
touts a relief of the Conklin Est. 1898 logo. The
back of the crown is engraved with the Herringbone
model name. The heavy chromium clip also is
engraved with the legendary Conklin trademarked
name and font and the center ring is engraved with
the Conklin C surrounded by four Conklin crescent
shapes on each side. This Conklin fountain pen is
also available in a 14Kt gold nib by request and is
available in five colors: Deep Sea Blue, Golden
Yellow, Slate Grey, Spring Pink, Sunrise Orange and
Silver. Each Conklin pen is sold in a luxury blue gift
box with satin lining. Buy it for yourself or as a gift.
