The bodies of Caran d'ache Metal Collection, writing instruments, come in five different metallic colours: blue, black, green, red and violet, with standard chromium-plated attributes. Available in ballpoint pen and 0.7mm mechanical pencil modes, these writing instruments feature push-button advance mechanism. The mechanical pencil includes an eraser and has a spare supply of leads with a diameter of 0.7 mm.

Caran d'ache Metal Collection ballpoint pens are recognizable by their hexagonal shape, inspired by Caran d'ache's classic pencil. They are appreciated for their light body and are equipped with the famous Goliath giant cartridge.
