the Ecridor Series, one of the most popular range of the brand.
Dedicated to beautiful car connoisseurs, its neo-retro style
brings a strong personality to the original version of the
Ecridor. Fully manufactured at the Caran d'Ache's plant in
Geneva, Switzerland, the Type 55 features an exclusive design
inspired by the legendry 1967 Ford Mustang. The
"Tire tread" pattern evokes the sleek lines yet rugged style of
the iconic car, a perfect foil for the distinctive hexagonal
barrel and curved clip in shiny silver with rhodium plating.
The motif is a repetition of 5 that gives its name: "Type 55", a
code name, in reference to these legendary cars that remain in
the spirit of all generations.
The Ecridor Type 55 comes as a fountain pen with smooth, semi-firm
steel nib, a capped rollerball , a push button ballpoint pen and
0.7mm mechanical pencil with the dependable Caran d'Ache
push-top activator.
