To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, Aurora presents the Torino 150, a pen crafted from placid blue resin and masterfully crafted sterling silver overlays. The cap is designed with symbols that recall the rich history of the city.
Cap with 925% sterling silver decorations and blue resin barrel
The most important city emblems on the cap:
- the Rampant Bull, symbol of Turin since 1687
- the Palazzo Madama first gateway to the city and then residence of the royal "madames"
- the Mole Antonelliana, which rises proudly from amidst the city streets
- the profile of Emanuele Filiberto, the famous Duke of Savoy
The first pen honored Venice, the 2nd Florence and now Turino (birth place of Aurora). This collection is built on the 88 line with sterling silver decorations on a blue body.
Each fountain pen is fitted with a solid 18kt gold nib and fills by piston-filling mechanism. The ballpoint uses a twist-action mechanism. The smooth-writing rollerball is full size and uses a screw off cap. |
