| MICHELE DE LUCCHI was born in 1951, and received his degree from the College of Architecture in Florence . Established Cavart , the group which played the leading role in Radical Architecture while in college. De Lucchi was a design consultant for Olivetti Synthesis at Massa in 1979. He designed the office furniture system for automation, Icarus , jointly with Ettore Sottsass Jr. in 1982. With Sottsass, undertook the image and furnishings for Fiorucci Showrooms in Italy and Europe . He participated in the Triennale exhibitions in 1979 and 1983. De Lucchi is also a leading member of the design group, Memphis . He has designed for ACME since 1985.
